Last night, Rey Mysterio stated in an interview that Samoa Joe has crossed a line by threatening his son, but Cesaro interrupted to insult the luchador and insinuate that Dominic was not really Mysterio's son, causing a brawl to break out.
A match between the two took place which saw the now single’s competitor Cesaro give a really good fight to The Master of the 619.
What seemed like a mid-card match for a pay-per-view event ended as Mysterio dodged Cesaro's attempt at his signature move then caught the heel with a 619 and diving splash for the win.
While WWE was trying to build Mysterio as a threat for Sunday, they seem to have wasted a perfectly good feud post-MITB by handing Cesaro a match with Mysterio and a loss so soon.
This should be a sign to WWE that these two are ready to feud for months to come with hopefully more stakes next time.
