#1 Top NXT stars made their main roster debuts
The most interesting to come out of Monday Night was the debut of four top NXT superstars who dominated their opponents. Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, and Aleister Black all got a chance to compete against the top men on Raw, and lay them down.

This resulted in three really good matches which could set up something great in the future if the creatives put their heads to it.

NXT is filled with top superstars, and we got to see what they can do in the ring under pressure on the flagship brand. While it was surprising to see these four men get a greater chance as compared to the recent six NXT call-ups have gotten, it was entertaining nonetheless.
With SmackDown currently packed with top talent, such as Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kofi Kingston, and Randy Orton, it was smart to have these men debut on Raw which has seen some top superstars out with injuries, and the void at the top which can be filled by some NXT talent till their return.
