#2 Sheamus shouldn't betray Drew McIntyre because it would be far too predictable
WWE is at its best when you don't see the surprises coming. If Sheamus does turn on Drew McIntyre in due course of time, this wouldn't quality as an unpredictable surprise. And this is why Sheamus should not betray Drew McIntyre.
Top name doesn't want to enter the WWE Hall of Fame. More details HERE.
Nobody predicted that Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt would come together or even that Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman would be aligned, and both of those storylines are the two hottest angles on TV.
When it comes to Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, people are just counting down the days until the former turns on the latter, and so the real surprise would be if the twist does not happen.
Sheamus doesn't even need to turn babyface, but a heel and a babyface being friends is just something fresh and original in the predictable landscape of WWE.
In a sense, it'd be like the current situation with Jimmy and Jey Uso.
If nothing else, it'll elevate Sheamus to the next level from being another mid card player.
