#2 Why it is good: Strowman gets gold

Braun Strowman had a really strong 2017 and first-half of 2018. At one point, when he was terrorizing the production unit by destroying anything and everything in his path, he seemed destined to become the WWE Universal Title sooner rather than later, especially when Roman Reigns announced the return of leukemia and had to drop the title.
Brock Lesnar and Strowman fought for the Universal Title at Crown Jewel last year and the former beat the latter with ease, thanks to an assist from Baron Corbin, to win back the title which he only lost a few months ago.
After that, things started going downhill for the Monster Among Men but then a feud against Bobby Lashley gave him momentum and his win against the Almighty in a Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules set him up for bigger and better things.
While he wasn’t on the card at SummerSlam, Strowman came back strongly after the PPV and seems to be back in the title picture. If his bid for a Universal Title shot wasn’t convincing already, putting gold around him especially after he pinned Anderson gives him more credibility.
Strowman is a Monster Among Men and he needs to be portrayed that way and having a belt around his waist, which is also shared by the Universal Champion Seth Rollins, is a step towards the right direction.
