Shouldn't happen: Women's tag-title change hands
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are set to put their tag titles on the line tonight against The IIconics. The former tag champions returned on WWE RAW last week and issued a challenge to the current champions.
The two teams faced off on RAW and The IIconics picked up a cheeky win after Billie Kay hit Alexa Bliss with a cheap shot. They were put into the title picture straight away and now have the chance to become 2-time champions.
However, WWE should not change the titles on RAW and wait for the next pay-per-view - Backlash. The IIconics are as good as Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross but they should be getting their hands on the titles on a PPV and not on a weekly TV episode.
Moreover, WWE needs to have the women's tag titles defended a little longer by the current champions. They have held the title for just over a month now and changing hands so soon could be a bit too much.
Unless Bliss and Cross are injured or need a break, WWE should keep the titles on them for another month at least.
