Since the beginning of the Authority storyline, Triple H and Stephanie haven’t totally been humiliated. Since the road to Wrestlemania has begun and fans have already started rebelling against the product, here’s hoping that the moment for trying the Authority comes soon.
Here are the five superstars who stood out this week.
5. Bray Wyatt
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
His promos are derailed just like him. In another one of his fantasy induced proclamations, he made it clear to the Shield that he is far superior to them. Giving out threats is an everyday affair in the WWE, but Wyatt’s character makes those threats seem so legit.
The score- Wyatt 1-0 Shield.
4. The Shield
It’s a fact that the Shield is the best tag team in the WWE right now. They had another great but not memorable match. But on Raw what really felt great wasn’t their match but their promo on the Wyatt family following the latter’s match. Dean Ambrose stood out by making it clear that the Shield don’t live in Wyatt’s “little fantasy world, with monsters and evil spirits, lamb masks and haunted rocking chairs.”
Score- Wyatt 1-1 Shield. And Wyatt welcomes ‘the war’.
3. Randy Orton
Even though his promos haven’t been spectacular, like, ever, he still put on a good match on Raw. And given the unrest of the fans this past week and a bit on Raw too, he has become quite a heel.
At least we can’t hear many cheers whenever he’s around.
2. CM Punk
CM Punk chants were expected, and as reports are coming out, many people were made to leave the arena because of that. But still, the chants could be heard during the main event.
It is quite something to make your presence felt even in your absence. WWE needs to fill that void soon.
1. Daniel Bryan
Only Yes chants could have taken over the CM Punk chants and they did so, even though not permanently. He’s fought Orton many times before, and tonight’s victory might seem relevant for what is to come next week.
But don’t be shocked if the Authority fizzles that momentum out too.
