AJ Styles is currently in one of the best phases of his career, as he has been doing a tremendous job as a heel on WWE RAW. He just led Team RAW to victory at WWE Survivor Series, and he is now just one step away from earning himself a shot at the WWE Championship.

Currently, "The Phenomenal One" seems to have the highest chances of winning the Triple Threat Match. Keith Lee's victory looks doubtful due to his issues with The Hurt Business, and it is uncertain whether Riddle would become the No. 1 contender so early in his career.

Though it's impossible to rule out any possibility, it looks like Styles could be the next superstar to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.

Drew McIntyre has previously expressed his desire to face "The Phenomenal One" on various occasions. He has already shared the ring with Styles during a few multi-man matches, but he has not faced Styles in a singles match. The window for this match at a WWE pay-per-view might be closing sooner rather than later, so the timing might be right for it.

With Styles becoming the No.1 contender, McIntyre would finally get his wish to battle "The Phenomenal One," and these two superstars could tear the house down at WWE TLC.
