So, you had Seth Rollins defy the odds and stand tall at WrestleMania, effectively becoming the Beast Slayer. But at the same time, imagine if his very first match for the Universal Championship were to take place against someone like Baron Corbin. It would effectively bring the value of the title down quite significantly.

I'm not suggesting that Baron Corbin is worthless at all. But only a handful of people were allowed near the Championship, back when Brock Lesnar was Champion. Therefore, there was a mystique around the title and it felt like a very big deal indeed.

Rollins and Corbin have faced each other on RAW in the past, and as much as Corbin has improved, he's upper mid card at best at the moment. He still has a long way to go before he can reach the prestigious AJ Styles level.
