It's almost become a tradition ever since two Money in the Bank contracts were introduced. One of the cash-ins is bound to happen on the very same night with the titles changing hands. Alexa Bliss did it last year and Bayley did it this year.
In fact, last year Braun Strowman pretty much wasted his contract by cashing it in for a Hell in a Cell match. The real fun of what we know and love as Money in the Bank comes from the element of surprise, the fact that a cash-in could happen at just about any time. Which is why last year's cash-in felt like a waste of everyone's time.
Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.
In the latest WWE NEWS, Vince McMahon knows that he can tell a long-term story with Brock Lesnar as a threat to anyone who is champion at the moment. Which is why the cash-in probably didn't happen.
