Paul Heyman must have been beaming with joy inside

On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed a list of Superstars that Paul Heyman intends to push on Monday Night RAW:

Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Humberto Carrillo, Andrade, Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy are like his guys. His projects. I mean that’s been the whole theme of the television show, I mean it’s always to get people over, but those are guys who are really being marked to get over.

Drew McIntyre was always one of the superstars chosen by Paul Heyman to build Monday Night RAW around. Heyman recognizes the talent he has and knows that he can't rely on a part-timer or centering the show around one.

With an eye to the future, he reportedly pushed for McIntyre to win the Royal Rumble

So obviously, one main event at WrestleMania, perhaps the main event of WrestleMania is going to be Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre and they went all the way to build that and Drew McIntyre is the guy. Obviously this is a Paul Heyman decision that was made sometime back
