When Edge made his return at the Royal Rumble, the whole world was thrilled and when an alliance with Randy Orton was teased, the world was even more overjoyed. And then, all of a sudden, Randy Orton snapped and attacked Edge in such a manner that he would be laid out for months. Edge would return shortly before WrestleMania to accept Randy Orton's challenge and the two men had a clash for the ages.

Edge vs. Randy Orton at WrestleMania was too long
This was a clash that took us all through the WWE Performance Center and we got a guided tour of one of the prime pro wrestling facilities from two of the greatest to lace up their boots. As great as the match was, many felt that Edge vs. Randy Orton just went on for far too long and was indulgent in a manner that did not keep the viewers engaged through the course of the contest.
