The issue with the final episode of WWE RAW for the creative team must have been that everything is set in stone. What do you do to keep the audience invested without changing the status quo for a match that's already pretty much set? Well, something like this, I suppose.
At the same time, I'm certain that Vince McMahon and the WWE Creative team could have come up with a far better go-home segment had they tried. But for what it is worth, it is a segment that has gotten a lot of people talking on social media both about how good and how awful it has been. And there's always the intrigue of how it's going to eventually turn out.
Sometimes, all you need is a laugh and this segment delivered that in spades. If the objective was a serious segment, then WWE failed.
