#2 An indy guy helping get Mojo Rawley over with the hardcore fanbase
Mojo Rawley has struggled to connect with the audience and that's been no secret. We agree that it's more important to get over with the casual audiences than it is with the hardcore audiences, but WWE is well aware of the importance of the hardcore "internet fans".
These hardcore fans are the ones who stick with the product no matter what and they're usually the ones paying the big bucks for tickets, merchandise, and more. Getting over with the hardcore audiences usually does big favors as it eventually pours onto favorable reactions with casual audiences as well.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
Ultimately, casual fans end up cheering and booing for the people that get the loudest reactions and this could be WWE's way of getting an "indy guy" in Sami Zayn endorse a "non-indy" homegrown WWE talent and a big way to get him over.
Hopefully, that translates into favorable reactions (cheers or boos) and if it works, then Rawley is all but guaranteed consistent TV time.
