WWE Raw: 5 shocking moments from this week’s episode (August 5, 2019)

#1 Goldberg’s return

It was expected, but we wouldn’t have been sure unless we saw what happened in the closing moments of Raw this week. Miz TV was scheduled for the end of Raw this week, which gave us a hint of what’s to come, and WWE did not disappoint us.

In a great segment which involved The Miz, Shawn Michaels, and Dolph Ziggler, WWE first hinted that Ziggler’s SummerSlam opponent will be the Heartbreak Kid rather than the A-Lister.

However, the tides soon changed as Goldberg made a shocking return and made it very clear that he would be the man to break Ziggler in half at SummerSlam. This will be a great opportunity for Goldberg to redeem himself, as The Undertaker already did so at Extreme Rules earlier on.

Ziggler has been known to be a man who gives his opponents great matches and sells moves very well, and he could prove to be Goldberg’s best possible opponent from the current roster.
