Matt Riddle has been taking a few too many shots at Goldberg on social media and WWE has been letting him do it. This could all point to the fact that Matt Riddle may be on his way up to the main roster next. And when he comes in, he could decide to take Goldberg out, to make that first strong impression.
Riddle absolutely has the look and the skills that will allow him to draw money as a star. But if he were to debut against Goldberg, it would also become one of those unforgettable moments that everyone always keeps talking about. Why else would Riddle incessantly pick on Goldberg, calling him the worst wrestler in the world?
Goldberg gets a very easy paycheck and he knows that he has few dates left in him. I doubt he'd mind doing the favor.
