It is clear that both Jeff Hardy and Riddle have an issue with The Hurt Business, and it is also amply clear that The New Day is quickly running out of opponents for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships.

So, imagine the tag team that was teased last week on WWE RAW between Riddle and Jeff Hardy becoming a reality. Every Jeff Hardy feud in the recent past has been based on his problems with addiction, and as for Riddle, his whole gimmick is based around a love for a certain herb.
Riddle can't take on The Hurt Business all by himself anyway, and to have Jeff Hardy in his corner will just make things more interesting.
Also, both Jeff Hardy and Riddle are the definition of cool, both in their unique way, and The Hardy Bros. could definitely get over with the younger crowd, even if Hardy is no longer a young man that he once was.
