We all know that Rey Mysterio had to relinquish his US Championship due to injury. And he relinquished it to Samoa Joe, a man who doesn't play by the rules and is always taking the easy way out.
Now, Samoa Joe is in the title picture for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules, and I have a feeling that Rey Mysterio may just insert himself into the mix as well. This is because he has unfinished business with Samoa Joe, and the inclusion of Mysterio into anything just makes the program much bigger.

Imagine if a brand new era of SmackDown Live actually begins with Rey Mysterio as the WWE Champion. Eric Bischoff could come on board with Mysterio holding the top prize in the business.
And the best thing is that we know that the two men have a history that goes back over two decades.
