So, before WWE TLC comes around, I would recommend that you check out Sportskeeda's own Gary Cassidy and Tom Colohue previewing the show and also discussing news ahead of the event next weekend. They also talk about a variety of other things, in particular, the upcoming Royal Rumble, naming their picks for the show.
And speaking of WWE TLC, one would assume that someone will go through a table to set up a match with a 'tables' stipulation at the show. One of the ways to do that would be to go up the ramp and have someone send another Superstar, through the commentary desk.

Samoa Joe will be seated at the desk and if indeed this is the angle that WWE chooses to do, they could potentially set up a feud that can lead to Joe making his big return to the ring at the Royal Rumble to take this person out. Maybe someone like Randy Orton or Drew McIntyre could be perfect for this role.
If Drew McIntyre is indeed the chosen one (no pun intended), it will also allow Samoa Joe to turn babyface when he makes his return.
