Why do you think Seth Rollins put on such a great competitive match with Humberto Carillo on RAW this week? The answer is simple- because there's a tradition in pro wrestling where the established veteran gives the young upstart the rub.
This has been happening ever since the time the business picked up and became a part of the fabric of America, and then, the world. Harley Race gave the rub to Ric Flair, Flair did the honors for Sting, and Sting would, in time, do the same for quite a few people in TNA.

Kevin Owens is an established star, who is a worldwide name because of his stint in the main roster of both brands. The Street Profits are on the way there but aren't quite there yet.
But the association certainly helps in audience perception, building up The Street Profits as viable top guys!
