Kevin Owens has been out of the title picture for a while now, but he was still involved in what was one of the hottest programs on SmackDown Live, with Shane McMahon. In fact, he is the man who sent Shane McMahon packing in what was the premiere of SmackDown on Friday Nights. After he did that, he became one of the top babyfaces in the blue brand, something that had been happening for a while, from the time he cut a passionate promo on McMahon.
Owens is always the common man, someone who fights against all odds, and The OC has been bullying their way in the backstage area over the past few weeks. It was only natural that Owens would come and take on their tyranny, establishing himself as the second top babyface after Seth Rollins. This was a great start for him.
