#4 Stacked up the mid-card
One of the highlights of RAW was the mid-card matches which have been missing since the past few months. A lot of forgotten Superstars who haven’t been seen in over a month on television got a chance to compete on the flagship brand this week.
Andrade, who had been missing since pushing Rey Mysterio to the brink of retirement, moved to RAW this week and got a huge match against Ali. Andrade picked up the victory in arguably the best match of the night which gave fans another good look at Andrade and Ali’s abilities.
Following that, Aleister Black got another match on television this week, as he fought the forgotten Eric Young in a winning effort. The match did what it was supposed to do and gave both men a match on the big stage.
Ricochet defeated Shelton Benjamin later in the night, while former Cruiserweight Champions Buddy Murphy and Cedric Alexander also got a match later on in the night.
The eight men managed to get some quality time on television which was the right thing to do on the second night of the draft. The entire point of the draft is to get new stars and build them up, and its the mid-card wrestlers that required the building which was done well on this week’s RAW.
