#5 Picked the right Championships
After the opening match where the first picks for the night were on the line, RAW’s Becky Lynch defeated SmackDown’s Charlotte Flair to earn her brand the right to make the first pick.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Sasha Banks was supposed to represent SmackDown but an injury forced her out of the match and her spot was taken by Becky’s friendly nemesis Charlotte.
On Friday Night SmackDown, RAW made the first pick and immediately protected their Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. This week too they wasted no time and picked their Universal Champion Seth Rollins, as SmackDown picked Brock Lesnar immediately afterward.
This was the right call to make, as switching the two top Championships would have caused a lot of confusion and disruption right before Crown Jewel and Survivor Series.
Not only that but switching WWE Champion Brock Lesnar back to RAW wouldn’t have made much sense as he just returned to SmackDown after a long time.
Later in the night, SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley was also drafted to the Blue brand where she's a constant now.
With the two top men’s and women’s Championships remaining with their respective brands, WWE did the right thing to not cause too much disruption while moving many potential challengers for the titles to either brand.
