#1 Ric Flair announced as the special guest referee for Batista vs. Triple H

When the staredown first happened at SmackDown 1000, Batista and Triple H were separated by Ric Flair, their stablemate from Evolution. And the feud kicked into high gear yet again, not long after when Batista attacked Ric Flair during his 70th birthday celebrations.

There is no doubt at all that Flair is at the centre of this feud. And what is a WrestleMania without the Nature Boy in attendance to make things special? We know that if we were asked to, he'd put on a pair of trunks and wrestle, but he's in no shape to do so at the advanced age of 70.

One thing that Flair could certainly do is become the special guest referee for the match and call it down the middle.

It may make sense for him to do so, to bring the story to a logical and highly entertaining conclusion.
