If you were a fan of WWE in the Attitude Era, you'll be familiar with this Championship. While some may claim that WWE does not need another mid-card title, can you blame WWE for pulling out the big guns before AEW Double or Nothing? Especially when Superstars like Jinder Mahal and Rusev don't get any TV time.
Maybe with this title in the picture, the underutilized European Superstars in the roster could potentially get a chance to shine. Someone like Cesaro not only hails from Europe but he could also use a push thanks to this reintroduced title. Like I have mentioned before, Rusev too is far too talented a Superstar to be sitting on the sidelines.

And there is no reason why the Champion needs to be European either. Someone like Elias could certainly claim this title and make fun of American towns as he now hails from Europe.
