Dolph Ziggler is one of the most talented men in the current WWE RAW roster and I would even argue that as a worker, he is significantly better than WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is. But he is at a certain position in the roster for a reason, and even when the ball was in his court, he could not score a victory over Drew McIntyre at WWE Extreme Rules 2020. So, did WWE really expect us to think that he had a chance to defeat the Champion in the main event of WWE RAW when Drew McIntyre picked the match stipulation?
I really do hope that Robert Roode can return to the WWE RAW roster very soon indeed so that the two of them can go after The Street Profits to bolster the WWE RAW Tag Team Division.
So yes, while the WWE RAW main event was good, everyone knew how it would turn out and as a result, nobody was really invested.
