Jerry Lawler is not Samoa Joe. Yes, he has been part of some of the greatest moments in pro wrestling, both as an active performer in his heyday and then later, as an announcer, during the hottest period in pro wrestling. But in the year 2020, as the voice of WWE RAW, there is just a sense of disconnect between him and the current product. Samoa Joe keeps the commentary on WWE RAW entertaining and engaging through his astute observations, something that isn't Jerry Lawler's forte.

Yes, they had a chance to make Dabba Kato into a star by having him pulverize Braun Strowman on this week's episode of WWE RAW and had that happened, it would have made it to the 'best' section of this review.
