Randy Orton is the top heel on the WWE RAW brand whereas Roman Reigns is the top heel on the SmackDown brand. Wouldn't it have made sense to keep the WWE Championship on Drew McIntyre for awhile longer, to make the face vs. heel contest happen at Survivor Series 2020? Also, as good as Asuka from WWE RAW vs. Sasha Banks from WWE SmackDown will be, they are both babyfaces, and this was a contest we've seen several times already, diminishing the feud quite significantly indeed.

WWE just announced 3 more champion vs. champion matches for Survivor Series #WWERawThe New Day vs. The Street ProfitsAsuka vs. Sasha BanksRoman Reigns vs. Randy Orton
The New Day and The Street Profits will similarly tear it up, but again, do the two most popular teams in WWE right now, really need to work against each other?
One has to wonder if there will be title changes on either the WWE RAW or SmackDown brand in the weeks to come, prior to Survivor Series 2020, to make way for a lot more exciting matches for the upcoming pay-per-view. One hopes so.
