What's in store for Rey Mysterio on WWE RAW?

The involvement of Dominik Mysterio in his father’s feud on WWE RAW was well-planned. It facilitated a great debut for Dominik, who feuded with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. However, it appears that WWE are not yet done with involving Rey’s family into the business. The last few weeks also saw Rey Mysterio’s wife and daughter make appearances on the show.

Rey Mysterio’s daughter Aalyah sympathised with Buddy Murphy when the latter was brutally injured on WWE RAW. Following that, Rollins decided to bring up the legitimacy of her relationship with Rey Mysterio, implying that she is not his daughter. Even Aalya was upset when Rey called her ‘naive’, and she walked away from her family.

It is evident that the creative are going to involve Aalyah in more storylines on WWE RAW going forward. However, amidst all this, Dominik’s run on the red brand might get compromised. He didn’t look very strong in the previous segments featuring Rey Mysterio’s entire family. If the same continues on the red brand, the impact of the entire family angle will be lost.
