The show opens with a look back into Payback PPV last night.

Justin Roberts introduces Ricardo Rodriguez, who then introduces Alberto Del Rio, who gets a mixed response from the crowd. Del Rio speaks about his controversial win at Payback and says Ziggler’s cash-in was the only thing that was controversial. His heel turn looks complete when he calls the crowd pigs and cowards for supporting Ziggler as a ‘we want Ziggler’ chant breaks out. He tells the crowd that he is the best when CM Punk‘s music hits to a huge pop from the crowd. Punk comes out and challenges Del Rio for a match, but Heyman seems unhappy about it. Del Rio nearly rejects the challenge when Vickie Gurrerro and Brad Maddox come out and make the decision that Punk will be facing Del Rio. She also announces she has a surprise for the McMahons.

Wade Barrett vs Christian

A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE

Wade Barrett is backstage asking for a rematch for his intercontinental title. But Vickie Gurrerro has a huge surprise in store as she introduces Christian. Christian gets a huge pop from the crowd as he makes his way to the ring. The match between the two was good as there was enough back and forth action. Christian finally hit the killswitch for victory.

Winner: Christian

Sheamus vs Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow (Rhodes Scholars)

Rhodes Scholars managed to maintain control entirely during this match. Their double team moves were exceptional which suggest their potential to be a great tag team. Sheamus kicked out of a near fall after a double suplex and then managed to gain some momentum after hitting the whitenoise on Rhodes. As Sheamus seemed to build momentum, he went for a Brogue Kick on Sandow, who countered it and rolled Sheamus for the pin.

Winner: Rhodes Scholars

Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan, No DQ match

A good match that had a very speculative end. Bryan and Orton were going after each other as the match seemed to be heading to a great finish. But after a low blow from Orton, Daniel Bryan looked injured as the doc checked on him and made the referee call the match off.

Winner: Randy Orton

Kane vs Dean Ambrose, US Title match

A short-lived match that saw interruption from the Shield. As Kane started gaining some momentum, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interfere and hit the triple power bomb on Kane to get disqualified.

Winner: Kane by disqualification

William Regal vs Antonio Cesaro

Before the match, Zeb Colter says he is going to start working with a new and young wrestler Cesaro. The match gets way as Regal gains the early momentum with some good shots. Cesaro counters and maintains pressure. Regal then comes back with a few good shots as Cesaro gains control with a double underhook. He finally hits the neutralizer for the pin.

Winner: Antonio Cesaro

Cena’s on stage next and talks about how he loves the crowd for their mixed response. He talks about the next challenger having to earn to take the title away from him as Mark Henry makes his way into the ring wearing a suit. The crowd chants Henry’s name as he gets emotional and tells Cena how good a job he has done. He says the only title he hasn’t fought for is the WWE title and Cena hands it over to him. As Cena lifts his hands up, Henry lays the World Strongest Slam on Cena and tells he has a lot more left in him.

Chris Jericho vs Heath Slater

A filler match, but sadly Jericho was a part of it. With 3 MB on ringside, Jericho started the match under control but after a cheap shot by Mcintyre on Jericho, Slater takes control. Jericho then hits the codebreaker for the win.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Curtis Axel vs Sin Cara

A match to allow Axel to continue with his winning run, and he remained in control of the match throughout despite a few hits from Cara here and there. After a huge DDT, Axel pins Cara for the win.

Winner: Curtis Axel

CM Punk vs Alberto Del Rio

Backstage, before the match, Heyman hugs Punk and wishes him luck for the match. The match started with Punk hitting a few nasty kicks and blows on Del Rio as he bails out of the ring. Punk follows him and Del Rio gains advantage when Punk rolls back into the ring. Del Rio, after a few strong kicks, gets a two count out of Punk. After the commercial, Ricardo provides a little distraction for Del Rio to gain momentum again. Punk hits the running knee and follows it up with the GTS as Del Rio wriggles out of it. Both he and Ricardo go up the ramp as the referee counts them out.

Winner: CM Punk via count out

Ziggler then attacks Del Rio as the Champion manages to escape backstage.

As Ziggler chases Del Rio backstage, Brock Lesnar’s music hits. Lesnar gets into the ring and picks up the mic. He stares at Punk, drops the mic and then F-5′s him and leaves the ring as the show comes to an end.
