The Roman Reigns Project
Well, WWE is not turning him heel yet. He’s clear about the fact that he will cash in the Money In The Bank Contract that he thinks he’ll win on whoever wins the Championship on Sunday. Be it Rollins or his friend Ambrose.
Later on in the night, he had a match against Kofi Kingston, which was supported by the outside-the-ring musings by his comrades in New Day. As the match progressed Reigns began getting much more of a favourable reaction. The end of the match saw him getting more of a favourable reaction.
He’s selling his injuries from the previous week and he’s visibly improved his in-ring ability. And you have to love him for the kind of support he shows to his brother/ friend Dean Ambrose.
The Ambrose appearances
Ambrose is finally enjoying the momentum that he had immediately after The Shield broke up. He has been given the opportunity and he’s shining in the role of the people’s bona fide WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He made his second straight appearance in 2 weeks towards the end of the night and remained entertaining in that brief yet significant appearance.
He ended the night being the one standing strong after handing over the title to Rollins, costing him the match and then taking the title away from him again to the delight of the audience in the arena.
