The backstage area has played an important role in the WWE over the years. From earth shattering interviews to backstage brawls, they have been an integral part of the wrestling world. So, we bring to you WWE RAW ‘locker room’, an article that highlights all the backstage segments on your favourite show.
1) Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee
AJ apologises for costing Ziggler the title at MITB. Dolph says its a done episode and that he’s going to move on in life henceforth and says ‘we’re done’ , signifying that they are breaking up. The crowd is delighted at this news.

2) Brad Maddox and Chris Jericho
Brad Maddox is talking to his mother over the phone when Chris Jericho enters the scene. He mocks Maddox and is told by the GM that he needs to impress Cena to be picked as his opponent for SummerSlam. So, he schedules a match between Jericho and RVD for later in the night. A visibly happy Jericho appreciates the decision and praises Maddox as the scene comes to a close.
3) Vicky Guerrero
Vicky Guerrero was seen outside the Barclays Center wearing a giant cardboard which read ‘vote for Vickie’. She had a speaker and a microphone and was hardly audible with all the chaos around her. She was saying something about signing on a petition to reinstate her as the managing supervisor.
4) Paul Heyman
A Paul Heyman segment from last night at the MITB is shown where he is chased by a reporter to comment on why he attacked CM Punk. A visibly irate Heyman asks the reporter to stay away from his personal life as the segment ends.
5) John Cena and Great Khali
John Cena is walking in the backstage area when he meets the Great Khali. Khali speaks to Cena in Hindi saying that they are good friends and that Cena must choose him for SummerSlam. Cena replies in Hindi saying that he has understood everything, pats Khali and leaves the scene.
6) Brad Maddox, Triple – H and Stephanie McMahon
Brad Maddox approaches Stephanie McMahon and she says ‘how is your first day at the job?’. Before Maddox can answer, she says the question was for Triple H as he enters the scene.Triple H then asks Maddox if he consulted Vince McMahon before taking any major decisions like the one where Cena is allowed to pick his opponent for SummerSlam. Maddox replies on a negative note.
Triple H then says that if Cena picks whom they think he would, it would be good for all and that Vince may not like the idea of superstars taking decisions rather than the management. Maddox looks confused as Triple H and Stephanie wish him luck and vacate the scene.
