1. Daniel Bryan mixing in the Batista-Orton-Authority angle
The great early segment between Bryan and Authority concluded with a main event match announcement between Bryan and heel Batista, which ensured (for a while) that Bryan is now a part of the angle between Orton, Batista and The Authority. By asking for a match against Batista, Bryan added another name to his long list of enemies which already has the likes of Randy Orton, Triple H and Kane on it. During the match we had Orton on ringside as Bryan dominated the match for quite some time, then we had The Authority around the ring and that distraction gave Batista the chance to knock Bryan off from the top rope and after that he sent him into the steel steps and then over Orton.
Bryan then knocked out Batista with a kick inside a ring, which was followed by an attack from Orton on Bryan who caused the disqualification and then went for an RKO on Batista, who countered it and sent him into Bryan’s Running Knee. Bryan then delivered a running dropkick on Batista and then a kick on Kane who fell over Triple H. Before Bryan could do more damage to The Authority, Batista had him down with a spear.

Then, Triple H stopped Kane, grabbed a mic and told Bryan that he is “getting tired of his little fantasy crap,” to which ‘The Flying Goat’ responded with a kick on his face, while he was still lying down. Bryan was about to get some more of Triple H but Batista with the help of his Batista Bomb did Triple H a favor, who then finished things off with a Pedigree. The show ended with Triple H, Kane and Stephanie standing beside a knocked out Bryan.
This outcome of Raw saw the beginning of a feud between Triple H and Daniel Bryan which would set up their match at WrestleMania XXX. For a moment, it looked like that the Batista-Orton match at ‘Mania could turn into a triple threat match with Bryan’s inclusion as both Batista and Orton are heels right now. This particular reason that Bryan being a fan-favorite face might become a part of the match would give hope to the people involved in the Yes Movement, but the ending nearly ended the idea of a triple threat match as Triple H looks set to face Bryan. But, would the idea of a heel vs. heel main event at WrestleMania work, or will Bryan get a chance at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? To find the answer we’ll have to wait until next Monday.
