The past episode of Raw saw Bray Wyatt assault to of the most popular WWE superstars who are indy darlings. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were on the receiving end of the assault. Daniel Bryan was soon attacked following a good segment with Shawn Michaels, his mentor who gave a very good heel promo. CM Punk was attacked straight after his match with Ryback came to a conclusion. The assault looked much more promising than the entire Ryback-Punk feud. But what made Bray Wyatt attack two of these superstars? This made Wyatt and Punk’s involvement in the authority storyline a bit plausible. And this put Wyatt in the spotlight on a night which had its many memorable moments.
Bray Wyatt did not have a video promo this week. Instead, he pranced and danced and sang his way around before rampaging onto Daniel Bryan backstage. The devil made him do it, so he says. Looks like Kane might not continue his feud with Wyatt. So is he a buzzard now? Well, it looked like Kane and Wyatt will continue their program after Kane returned at Hell In A Cell to attack Erick Rowan and Luke Harper and it was not unusual to see him attack babyface Miz. But the segment between Stephanie and Kane seems to indicate that Wyatt won’t be facing Kane anytime soon.
Kane might be willing replacement for Big Show for Stephanie McMahon. The night saw Damien Sandow become the first Money In The Bank winner to get pinned after cashing in. He is the second person to lose after cashing in. Cena continued his juggernaut of a return. Even though the whole match between Sandow and Cena was awesome, it left me disappointed watching Cena come up against all odds. Same Old. Same Old. And Sandow still remains an uncrowned champion. But still, it takes two to tango and Sandow played his part really well.
But Wyatt remained his intriguing self after attacking two superstars. The reason for which remains unknown and worth waiting for next week. Will Bryan and Punk form a tag team against Rowan and Harper till Wyatt becomes fully fit? The Shield showed their first signs of friction, so will The Wyatt Family become the authority’s new bodyguards? As Triple H is embroiled in a feud with Big Show, clearly a match between them is a huge possibility. Shawn Michaels might play a further role in the storyline. Does Wyatt attacking Daniel Bryan mean that the feud between Orton and Bryan is coming to an end?
