The opening match of the WWE Payback 2020 main card saw Bobby Lashley defeat Apollo Crews to become the new United States Championship. Their match was impressive, and Crews even attacked Lashley when the latter was celebrating his title win. Therefore, we can expect both these WWE RAW Superstars to engage in a rematch.

In addition to that, MVP teased a huge development for the Hurt Business on WWE RAW. Following Lashley's match, MVP said that winning the US Title was Step 1, and Step 2 is coming soon. Teasing about the future of his faction, MVP said:

"I told you. I told everybody. I told you when I first started talking to my man Bobby Lashley and when I started talking to my man Shelton Benjamin, I knew what we were capable of. This is step one, and I promise you, step two is coming."
MVP has also been speaking with other talents on WWE RAW. The huge title win from last night will make it easier for him to convince more people to join his entourage. All eyes will be on Cedric Alexander, who has been one of MVP's prime targets on the red brand.
