WWE: RAW Preview for 14th October

Big Show

With the Hell In A Cell PPV fast approaching, tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW rolls out of Randy Orton’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri from the Scottrade Center. Last week’s show ended with Triple H getting knocked out, and WWE reported that the COO of WWE suffered a concussion at the hands of The Big Show. Also, John Cena’s return date has been confirmed, as the former WWE champion returns to the WWE at the Hell In A Cell PPV, taking on Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight championship. Also, a new authority figure is in town, as the Daniel Bryan – Randy Orton bout will feature a special guest referee. Last week, the WWE Universe had the opportunity to choose the special enforcer for the bout, and they chose the Heart Break Kid! So what can we expect from this week’s show? Let’s find out.

The authority takes action against The Big Show

Last week, Stephanie McMahon publicly fired The Big Show to kick things off on RAW, but as the show ended, the angry giant made his way down to the ring to seek retribution against the COO of the WWE, and allegedly the guy who made The Big Show knock Daniel Bryan out at WWE Battleground, Triple H. As The Shield tried to take out the giant, he shrugged them off with ease and knocked out Triple H. After the cameras stopped rolling, the COO was tended to by the medical personnel, and word came out that Hunter and Stephanie are going to press charges against The Big Show this week. How will the power couple react to the recent attack by The Big Show? We’ll find out about that and more on tonight’s episode.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Daniel Bryan’s fate rests in his mentor’s hands

Daniel Bryan Shout

Huge news coming out of last week’s show was about the special guest referee for the Hell In A Cell PPV. With Booker T, Bob Backlund and Shawn Michaels being the three picks for the position of the special enforcer, the WWE Universe made their choice clear as they picked Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee for the bout! Very few people know that Michaels mentored Daniel Bryan when Bryan was learning the nuances of the business, and this puts Michaels in a delicate situation. Will Shawn call the match down the middle, or will he favour his protégé? Also, we can’t forget that Shawn and Triple H have been best buddies for nearly two decades! Will that sway Shawn Michaels to screw Bryan? What will Bryan have to say about Michaels refereeing the bout? Tonight’s RAW promises to be an interesting show!

Will the Rhodes brothers go after championship gold?

Rhodes Bro

Ever since Goldust and his younger brother Cody earned their jobs back in the WWE, they have been on a roll, and have taken out the members of The Shield! With The Shield holding the tag team gold for a considerable amount of time, the brothers would be eyeing to take off the straps from the hounds of justice, and can do that at the Hell In A Cell PPV. Will the Rhodes brothers challenge The Shield for the tag team gold at the PPV? Or will Rollins and Reigns get the upper hand, decimating the brothers well before the PPV? There are a lot of possibilities which can unfold on tonight’s episode!

Bray Wyatt injured?

Bray Wyatt Deb

Word came out late last week that Bray Wyatt injured himself during a house show, and was seen walking out on crutches after the event. With the Wyatt Family on a hot streak in recent weeks, how will that affect the faction and the WWE? Bray has been targeting various superstars, including the likes of Kofi Kingston and The Miz in recent weeks. Will Bray Wyatt take some time off due to this injury? Or will he be back in the ring sooner than expected? Also, what is the state of his injury? We will get all our answers on tonight’s show.

Paul Heyman looks to settle scores with a punk

Punk

As irony has it, Heyman has been dealing with a renegade, a “punk” in his own right for the past few months. With Punk accepting Ryback’s challenge last week, their match is set for the Hell In A Cell PPV. But before we get to the actual event, Heyman and Ryback would like to send a message to the Second City Saint on this week’s episode. Heyman is probably the greatest evil genius in the history of the industry, and with Axel and Ryback behind him, one has to believe that he will set a trap for his former “friend” and his prodigal son, CM Punk. Also, Punk has outsmarted Heyman and his henchmen on a few occasions, so Heyman won’t be taking him lightly anymore. What will the former best friends have in store for each other? We’ll find out tonight, on Monday Night RAW!
