Seth Rollins will challenge Rey Mysterio for the US title

The other big match from tonight's episode of RAW features former Universal Champion Seth Rollins challenging Rey Mysterio for the WWE United States Championship. Rollins recently turned his back on the fans and went heel after aligning himself with the Authors of Pain. This led to Rollins and the AOP assaulting Mysterio on last week's episode of RAW.

Speaking about the brutal beatdown in a backstage interview, Rollins said the reason he didn't hurt Mysterio too bad was because he wanted a shot at the WWE United States Championship. Later in the night, Mysterio accepted his challenge.

The Master of the 619 will want to watch his back when he faces Rollins tonight. With The Architect challenging for the WWE US Championship, Akam and Rezar will be his insurance policy and won't be far behind their 'leader'. Could we see Kevin Owens making a return and getting involved tonight? We'll find out about that later tonight.
