Mickie James and Paige started off the action. Absolution's leader took out Bayley and distracted the referee while DeVille and Rose attacked the legal Sasha.
Paige ordered Mandy and Sonya to go after Mickie and Bayley. Sasha began and attacked Paige. Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille interfered and attacked Sasha to the point that the match got DQ'd.
Sasha Banks, Mickie James & Bayley defeated Absolution by DQ.
Post-match, Nia Jax came out and hit a double Samoan drop on Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille. Paige attacked Nia's legs and the three hounded Nia. The rest of the roster interjected and things broke down quickly.
Stephanie McMahon came out and it all stopped. All signs pointed towards a Women's Royal Rumble announcement. And the announcement was made official. All the women on the roster then seemingly broke character and unified in "Yes!" chants. It was bizarre in the sense that they all just seemed happy and it ended abruptly.
