The New Day came and announced themselves as the longest reigning tag champs of all time before adding that they couldn’t become 3-time champions without losing a couple of times, just like Ric Flair couldn’t have become a 16-time champion without losing 15 times.
The former champions were followed out by the new champs Cesaro and Sheamus. Sheamus said that it really was a new day, the first day of their tag-team title reign. This once again led to the two of them bickering on the entrance ramp.
Kofi couldn’t believe that just a day into their title reign Sheamus and Cesaro were given brand new title belts. The New Day congratulated Cesaro while the crowd chanted “shame” at Sheamus. Sheamus told the New Day that they disgraced the WWE Tag-Team Champions for 483 days and if the New Day could be champs for 483 days, he could easily hold onto them for 20 years.

Anderson and Gallows’ music hit at this point. Anderson came out with the mic, calling the New Day and Cesaro and Sheamus nerds. They said Cesaro and Sheamus should thank them for winning because they softened the New Day up with countless beatings.
The Shining Stars music hit at this point and they came out announcing that they had the perfect holiday gift before handing out brochures to the Shining Star resort. Cesaro tore it to shreds which led to a massive brawl which ended with New Day, Cesaro and Sheamus clearing the ring.
The New Day, Cesaro and Sheamus vs The Club and Shining Stars
Primo and Karl Anderson started us off. Primo dumped Kofi outside the ring before tagging Anderson in. Anderson hit a running boot to the head before tagging in Gallows. Gallows and Anderson rotated tags as Anderson took the fight to Kingston.
The momentum was on Gallows’ side, who gave a chokeslam to Kofi. After the commercial break, Anderson was in control. Kofi hit a tornado DDT on Anderson. Gallows attacked the babyfaces and The Shining Stars cleared the rest. Anderson and gallows hit the Boot Of Doom on Kofi but he kicked out.
Kofi managed to tag in Big E, who clears out Gallows and Anderson. Just as Big E was gaining momentum, Sheamus tagged himself in. He hit the beats of – on Epico. Cesaro tagged in and tried to pin Epico but failed. The competitors all cleared each other out. Cesaro then sent Epico to the Cesaro Swing, followed by a Sharpshooter, making Epico tap out.

Enzo and Cass were backstage, where Enzo is angry at Cass. Enzo got a letter saying that since he “exposed himself” a few weeks ago, he was being made to go to Sensitivity Classes, starting later that very night.
