Akira Tozawa vs TJP
Titus O’ Neil came out after the two competitors and actually did a really good job hyping up the audience for the match.
The match itself started off really well and at a fast pace. A few moments into the match, Neville’s music hit and he announced that he would watch the match from the commentator’s table as we headed to commercial.
TJP was in control when we came back from commercial but Tozawa looked to hit back with a kick across TJP’s chest. TJP replied with a springboard forearm and bowed to the fans for good measure. Perkins locked in a rest hold before Tozawa reversed a suplex and hit TJP with a running switch kick. He then headed to the top rope only for TJP to roll out to what he thought was safety. Tozawa adapted his offence and hit TJP with a suicide dive.
Tozawa rolled Perkins back into the ring and TJP hit him with a gutbuster for a 2-count. Tozawa regrouped and took Perkins down before heading to the top rope and hitting a Senton for the win.
Akira Tozawa def. TJP
Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel were backstage when they were joined by The Miz. Miz insulted them and told them they weren’t living up to their potential. He then offered them a chance to join his ‘entourage’ before walking away.
