Kurt Angle met Shane McMahon backstage. The two were talking about AJ Styles and Angle said he wanted Styles. He told him that without Styles, SmackDown Live wouldn't be what it is.
The two started to get a bit tense bragging about their respective brands but ended things on a friendly note
Asuka vs Emma

Asuka made her way to the ring to a great ovation. Emma supposedly asked for a rematch. Asuka started off with her counter-style offence on the Australian. She hit a running hip attack onto Emma and sent her from the apron down to the mat.
Emma shoved Asuka into the post and back in the ring and gained some control. Emma even landed a nice lariat on The Empress Of Tomorrow.
Asuka bought herself some time when she hit a missile drop kick onto the Oz. Emma tried to strike Asuka, which was a bad idea of course. She then struck Emma viciously and quickly, following up with a suplex and a hip attack. Emma kicked Asuka's head into the turnbuckles and tried to get more out of it but Asuka being as smooth as she is transitioned quickly into an Asuka lock. Emma couldn't do anything this time around. The Empress' streak continues one.
