Goldberg returns to RAW, Brian Kendrick defends his Cruiserweight Championship against TJ Perkins tonight, Charlotte is on the show for her post-HIAC celebration. RAW comes to us live from Hartford, Connecticut as the fallout show for the Hell in a Cell and big things will certainly be set in motion for Survivor Series tonight.
Being that it’s a Halloween special, the return of Boogeyman and some other special appearances might very well happen.

Segment: Goldberg makes an appearance
RAW kicked off with Goldberg making an entrance through the backstage much like the last time he was on RAW. The crowd chanted his name in unison as his old WCW theme is played in the arena. Paul Heyman interrupted Goldberg just as he had started to cut his promo. He notified the crowd that Brock Lesnar was not ‘appreciative’ of them chanting Goldberg’s name.
Paul Heyman told Goldberg that he had brought ‘significant backup’ with him, referring to Brock Lesnar as an ‘impatient beast’. Paul Heyman then told Goldberg that Brock Lesnar wanted to face Goldberg on RAW itself.
Brock Lesnar’s theme song played but he didn’t make an appearance. Paul Heyman joked about how he made a fool out of everyone and told Goldberg that the look of disappointment on his son’s face would be even worse at Survivor series when Brock Lesnar destroyed him.
Just as Goldberg was about to hit Paul Heyman, Rusev came out and told Goldberg that he didn’t think Goldberg was a superhero because superheroes didn’t exist. He also accused Goldberg of not having the heart to fight anymore.
Rusev then landed a cheap shot on Goldberg’s face, which Goldberg completely no-sold and ended up attacking him back, slightly botching an offence by slipping in the ring. After landing a few strikes, Goldberg then managed to put Rusev through a jackhammer and immediately speared Paul Heyman right after, much to the delight of the crowd.
Match: Luke Gallows (with Karl Anderson) vs. Enzo (with Cass) in a Trick or Street fight
Anderson and Gallows come out to a ring surrounded by Pumpkins and Halloween props in what is a Halloween gimmick match with no disqualifications. Cass and Enzo made their full entrance dressed in Halloween costumes as Andy and Buzz Lightyear respectively. Enzo promised a beatdown to ‘infinity and beyond’.
The match started off with Enzo and Luke Gallows squaring off in the middle of the ring. The two took the fight outside as Enzo hit Gallows with a prop skeleton and shoved his face into some apples, we cut to commercials.
Back from commercials, Gallows seemed to have gotten a bit of an upper hand into the fight and threw pumpkin pulp at Enzo. Back in the ring, Gallows hit Enzo with a clothesline, before beating him up viciously with a kendo stick. Enzo tried to get back by throwing pumpkins at Gallows but Gallows managed to hit him with the stick again.
Enzo was then interrupted by Anderson from smashing Gallows with a pumpkin pie but managed to get smashed by it himself instead. This was followed by a big boot from Cass to Anderson. He then subsequently overpowered Luke Gallows.
Enzo then went on the top rope and delivered a DDT on Luke Gallows which ended with him pinning his opponent for the win.
Result: Enzo defeated Luke Gallows via Pinfall
Backstage, an ambulance that was apparently escorting Paul Heyman to a hospital was shown.
Match: Brian Kendrick (Champion) vs. TJ Perkins for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
TJ Perkins invoked his rematch clause for the championship opportunity the very next night of losing it. He came out first and was followed by Brian Kendrick.
Brian Kendrick cut a promo talking about how nice guys always finished last and told TJ Perkins that he had toyed with TJ’s emotions to win the championship. He then told TJ Perkins that he had a plan of defending his title.
After denying Brian Kendrick a handshake, TJ Perkins started with a full blown barrage of offence on Brian Kendrick which resulted in a nearfall. We cut to commercials at this point.
Back from the commercials, TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick continued to have a go at each other with both looking equally worn out. TJ Perkins still had the upper hand and delivered a series of high impact moves before putting Kendrick a kneebar that Kendrick quickly got to the ropes to break out of.
Brian Kendrick then interrupted an attempt at a top-rope move by TJ Perkins. TJ Perkins overpowered it and delivered a Hurricanrana on Brian Kendrick, throwing him over the top rope to the outside. The two were almost counted out by the referee before TJ Perkins made it back in.
Brian Kendrick refused to come back to the ring and thus retained his title by way of getting counted out. He was attacked by an irate TJ Perkins shortly thereafter and was left whinging in pain at ringside.
Result: TJ Perkins defeated Brian Kendrick via count-out, Brian Kendrick remains the champion
Segment: Mick Foley backstage
Backstage, we saw Mick Foley talking to an official.
Braun Strowman appeared and threatened to take out half the locker room if he wasn’t put on the Raw team for Survivor Series. He spoke about having destroyed all of Foley’s opponents for him. Mick Foley told Braun Strowman that while the threats did make him scared, he wasn’t going to give in to them and had other plans instead.
Mick Foley notified Braun Strowman that he’d be competing at a Battle Royal that night to determine his spot on the team. Braun looked pleased and walked off as we cut to commercials.
Segment: Mick Foley in the ring
Mick Foley came out to the ring. He spoke about being proud of everyone that performed at Hell in a Cell except Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.
Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho then came out to the ring, A loud pop for Y2J broke out from the crowd. Kevin Owens accused Mick Foley of being upset with Chris Jericho outsmarting him and because of Kevin Owens stealing the show.
Mick Foley said that he needed both Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho on his team at Survivor Series, representing RAW against Smackdown. Kevin Owens accused Mick Foley of being jealous of him and called him a loser since he had lost 4 Hell in a Cell matches while Owens had won his.
Mick Foley then informed Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho that Stephanie McMahon only wanted Kevin Owens to be on the team but that he convinced her otherwise. He then said that he also needed ‘The Guy’ on the team, which prompted Roman Reigns to come out to the ring.
After Roman referred to Chris Jericho as a ‘stupid idiot’, Chris Jericho teased putting him on the list but told him that he wasn’t worthy of it. He then told Roman Reigns that he’d be a better US champion than Roman could ever be.
Mick Foley then stepped in and made the match official for the night. Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns will be battling it out! We cut to commercials.
12-man Battle Royal for a spot on the RAW team for Survivor Series
Back from the commercials, Sami Zayn is the first to come out to the ring as we cut to commercials (again?)
Back from the commercials (again), we see Braun Strowman making his way to the ring. The ring is filled with superstars from the roster. Cesaro and Sheamus were arguing with each other as R-Truth, Goldust and Sami Zayn tried to take out Braun Strowman in a team effort.
R-Truth was the first one to be tossed out by Braun Strowman, he dispatched Bo Dallas off the top rope next. After getting kicked and punched by Neville and Cesaro respectively, Sami Zayn landed a kick to his face.
A big boot by Sheamus managed to launch Braun Strowman to the outside, but he went through the middle rope and was thus still technically a part of the match as we cut to commercials again.
Back from the commercials, the team of Sheamus and Cesaro managed to eliminate Darren Young and Jinder Mahal as Braun Strowman made it back to the ring and immediately went after Cesaro. Curtis Axel landed a barrage of punches on Braun Strowman, briefly gaining the upper hand before being thrown out by Strowman.
Sami Zayn then eliminated Titus O’Neil. Goldust was eliminated by the team of Sheamus and Cesaro. The duo then got into a scuffle with each other, which ended with Sheamus trying to eliminate Cesaro, but Cesaro reversing it and eliminating his partner instead. Braun Strowman quickly tossed Cesaro outside right after.
Cesaro and Sheamus got into a shoving match outside, clearly angry at each other.
With Neville, Sami Zayn and Braun Strowman left in the ring, Neville tried to go for the offensive on Strowman but was tossed out by Strowman with relative ease.
After a back and forth between Sami Zayn and Braun Strowman, Braun carried Sami Zayn on his shoulder, much like he had carried several men throughout the course of the match, before tossing them out.
Sami Zayn put on a valiant fight and managed to hold on to the ropes. Sami almost rid of Braun Strowman, getting him off his feet at one point but was eventually overpowered and thrown out.
Result: Braun Strowman is the winner of the Battle Royal and the final member of Team RAW for Survivor Series
Segment: New Day backstage
Backstage, New Day were shown dressed as The Godfather, Papa Shango and Kama Mustafa from the Nation of Domination, all three gimmicks of WWE Hall of Famer Charles Wright.
They were shown discussing the events at Hell in a Cell and Survivor Series. Kofi Kingston informed his teammates that The New Day were the captains of the RAW Tag teams at Survivor Series.
They then summarily picked on their tag team opponents from Smackdown, making fun of each of the Smackdown tag teams before adding that they had “nothing bad” to say about American Alpha.
Match: Six man Cruiserweight Tag Team match
Rich Swann made his entrance, followed by Lince Dorado and Cedric Alexander. Cedric Alexander’s entrance was botched on the titantron as Drew Gulak. We cut to commercials.
Back from the commercials, Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari are in the ring. The opponents Ariya Daivari and Lince Dorado shook hands before kicking things off.
Lince Dorado getting a nearfall. Drew Gulak was then tagged in. Cedric Alexander landed a dropkick, with Tony Nese being tagged in by Gulak shortly thereafter. Cedric alexander and Tony Nese took the action outside with a near-confrontation happening between the two teams.
Back in the ring, Tony Nese wore Alexander down with a hold. Tony Nese then tagged Ariya Daivari in.
Daivari got a nearfall before wearing Cedric Alexander down some more. Cedric eventually got a reversal on Ariya Daivari and almost managed to crawl to his corner, but Daivari tagged Drew Gulak in who stopped things from progressing any further for Cedric.
Cedric Alexander, however, got some offence over his opponent and finally managed to tag Rich Swann in, while Drew Gulak tagged Tony Nese in.
An insane spot from Cedric Alexander and Lince Dorado saw them leap off the top of the ropes on to Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari, taking them out of the equation. Rich Swann got the pin on Tony Nese inside the ring after landing a spinning back kick as we cut to commercials.
Result: Rich Swann, Lince Dorado and Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak, Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari via Pinfall
Segment: Charlotte’s post-HIAC speech
Charlotte came out to the ring on a throne being carried by four men. She put the belt around her waist and stepped inside.
She then talked about how Sasha Banks made the biggest mistake of her life by getting off the stretcher. She then sent a message to Sasha Banks telling her that while she did push her to her limits, Sasha Banks was just like any other woman in the WWE, being second place to her.
She then mentioned that she was going to captain Team Raw over Team Smackdown. She then threatened Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Carmella with dire consequences should they got in their way.
She then spoke about Bayley being on her team being the weak link and called her out.
Bayley made her way to the ring. She spoke about their time together in the NXT and congratulated Charlotte on winning the Women’s championship. Bayley then called Charlotte ‘the biggest jerk’ and accused her of letting her success get to her head.
Charlotte then called Bayley a ‘glorified fan wearing a Halloween costume’ and informed her that she was going to compete with their Survivor series teammate. Bayley told Charlotte that she had already beaten her protege Dana Brooke, to which Charlotte responded by introducing Nia Jax as Bayley’s opponent instead.
Match: Bayley vs. Nia Jax
Back from commercials, Charlotte is being interviewed by the commentators as the two women square off in the ring. Bayley looks intimidated by Nia Jax but puts in a valiant effort at mounting an offence.
Nia Jax continued to beat Bayley down, before catching her in a bearhug. Bayley, fought back, however, and reversed the hold into one of her own. Bayley locked in the guillotine before Nia threw her away. Bayley then hit Nia Jax with a series of dropkicks before finally knocking her off her feet.
Nia Jax then went on the top rope where Bayley followed her, attempting a belly to belly suplex off the top rope, only to have Nia Jax throw her outside.
Back in the ring, Nia Jax landed a Samoan drop and pinned Bayley for the win. While this was not a squash match per se, Nia Jax completely overwhelmed and overpowered Bayley throughout the match and looked strong in her win.
Result: Nia Jax defeated Bayley via Pinfall
Tag Team Match: Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Primo and Epico (Shining Stars)
Primo and Sheamus kick off the match. Cesaro was tagged in shortly into the match by Sheamus. Primo then tagged Epico in after landing a dropkick on Cesaro. Epico continued to beat down Cesaro and tagged Primo back in. They landed a tag team manoeuvre on Cesaro with Epico holding Cesaro to the ropes as Primo landed a diving kick.
Epico was tagged back in again and continued to wear Cesaro out. Cesaro did manage to power out of the hold and landed a series of uppercuts, before attempting a roll up. Primo was tagged back in by Epico, however.
A reversal saw Cesaro tagging Sheamus in as Epico was now the legal man after being tagged in himself. Sheamus immediately overpowered both his opponents.
Sheamus locked in the Cloverleaf hold on Epico, Primo saw this and attempted to land an axehandle off the top rope to try and knock Sheamus out of the hold, but Cesaro took him out in mid-air with an uppercut just before he could get to Sheamus. Epico tapped out to the hold which gave Cesaro and Sheamus the win.
Result: Sheamus and Cesaro win via Submission
Segment: The Golden Truth’s trip to a Haunted House
R-Truth and Goldust are spooking each other out in a taped segment at a Haunted House, while they continue to get scared by the artists and objects inside. They finally manage to make it out.
Match: Chris Jericho (with Kevin Owens) vs. Roman Reigns for the United States Championship
Kevin Owens is hyping up his best friend Chris Jericho backstage for his upcoming US title match. Chris Jericho mentioned how the US title was the only one he has never had. Kevin Owens promised to help Jericho capture the US title and to rechristen it as the ‘Canadian title’ and the two made their entrance to the ring.
Roman Reigns came out next as we cut to commercials.
Back from the commercials, Chris Jericho was introduced first as Kevin Owens cheered him on. Roman Reigns was introduced and announced as the champion next.
The match kicked off with Chris Jericho throwing his scarf on the face of Roman Reigns before hitting him with a flurry of strikes. Roman Reigns returned the offence but seemed to be hurting his elbow. Jericho eventually got the upper hand and got into a slapping match with Roman Reigns before hitting him with a dropkick.
Jericho then made it to the top rope but before he could do anything, Roman Reigns followed him there and attempted to reverse it. Chris Jericho eventually did manage to throw him back to the ring and landed a cross-body. Nearfall on Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns, after kicking out of the nearfall, launched Chris Jericho outside. He continued to beat Jericho down on the barricades, throwing him all around the ringside. Jericho was then thrown back to the ring. It was at this point that with Kevin Owens drove Roman Reigns’ head into the steel post as the referee was distracted by Jericho.
We cut to commercials.
Back from the commercials, Chris Jericho was shown beating Roman Reigns down on the ringside, he eventually brought Roman back inside and continues to beat him down with knees and punches. He landed a sidewalk slam and put Roman into a hold.
Roman Reigns powered out and began to get his own footing back into the match, landing a series of big clotheslines followed by a dropkick. After Jericho tried to outsmart Roman Reigns by launching himself off the top ropes towards an unsuspecting Roman, he got caught by a punch instead.
Roman Reigns then landed a driveby on the ringside, before getting a nearfall on Jericho. Chris Jericho almost managed to lock in the Walls of Jericho but Roman powered out of it.
After another bunch of attempts at pinning Roman Reigns and one at the Codebreaker, Chris Jericho finally locked in the Walls of Jericho but Roman Reigns powered out, beating Chris Jericho down in the process. Roman Reigns subsequently landed a sit-out powerbomb and pinned Chris Jericho for a nearfall as Jericho kicked out.
After powering up for the spear, Roman Reigns punched Kevin Owens instead. He subsequently connected the Superman punch on Chris Jericho, followed by a spear. Kevin Owens interrupted the pin and beat down Roman Reigns. It was at this point that the referee ended the match with a DQ victory for Roman Reigns.
Seth Rollins came out and beat up both Rollins and Jericho, launching himself into consecutive crossbody slams across the ropes on to a ringside Owens. He then had Jericho almost locked in a pedigree but Kevin Owens saved his best friend by pulling him out as the two left together.
There was a staredown between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns which saw “Shield” chants breaking out in the crowd. The show ended here, potentially setting up a tag team match between The Shield brothers and JeriKO next week.
Result: Roman Reigns defeated Chris Jericho by Disqualification
