The Dudley Boyz defeat The New Day

The match was a short one too. Before the match, The New Day made their way to the ring to a tremendous ovation and cut a promo on their opponents for the match at Extreme Rules, The Vaudevillains. It was a good promo and as usual entertaiing in a New Day way.

The match was relatively simple, but the Vaudevillains attacked Xavier Woods who was on the ringside and caused a distraction. The Dudleys used it to pick up the win. The Vaudevillains delivered a Whirling Dervish to Kofi to send a statement after the match. It was refreshing to see The Vaudevillains show some character and they performed the heel antics in a relatively good manner.

Big Cass vs Chris Jericho ends in chaos

Big Cass met Chris Jericho in the main event. But the match never got started. As Chris Jericho made his way to the ring, Dean Ambrose attacked him and stole his jacket. Chris was left lying on the ramp as Ambrose made the may to the ring with the jacket on in the dark.

Ambrose went on to destroy Jericho’s $15000 jacket in retalitation to Mitch’s demise. Jericho tried to save what little he could with a rake to the eye to Ambrose. But Big Cass prevents him from leaving. After Jericho slaps Big Cass, Cass sends him into the ring and Ambrose finishes it off with Dirty Deeds.

Ambrose then uttterly destroyed Jericho’s Jacket. He stamped on the circuit boards and ripped off the jacket to make it useless. Ambrose left Jericho screaming in rage and frustration as he made his way up the ramp. Jericho was beside himself as he saw his prized $15000 jacket lying destroyed in the middle of the ring.

This was absolutely brilliant. This is the Ambrose that has been missing for a long time. You don’t mess with Ambrose Asylum and Jericho learned it the hard way.

Backstage Shane ans Stephanie are seen coexisting together.
