The match started with multiple near falls and both men were trying to get the early lead. The OC came around as the match went on and AJ got the upper hand by sending Rey into the corner.

We returned from commercials to see Rey sent AJ to the outside and then hitting a modified powerbomb into the barricades. Rey hit a tornado DDT but AJ kicked out again. Mysterio hit the 619 but the OC interfered and AJ got a near fall instead.
