We got another great episode of WWE RAW before we head to Saudi Arabia for the King and Queen of the Ring. We got the return of former tag champ Sonya Deville, while Sami Zayn took a big loss tonight on RAW.

Sami Zayn kicked off RAW and talked about the King and Queen of the Ring, where he will face Bronson Reed and Chad Gable. Gable came out and said that his fault was that he was too nice.
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
Chad Gable pointed out that Maxxine Dupri had lost her Queen of the Ring match and that Akira Tozawa was also a failure. He insulted Otis before Sami said that he was going to beat him up in Saudi Arabia. Sami and Gable had a match planned for tonight, and we headed for it right away.
WWE RAW Results (May 20, 2024): Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable
Chad Gable was in trouble early on but managed to drop Sami Zayn on the ropes. Gable motioned for Maxxine Dupri to attack Zayn, but she hesitated. Gable yelled at Maxxine for not helping before dropping the champ outside and, this time, motioning for Akira Tozawa to attack him.
Tozawa also hesitated, causing Gable to get angry and send the two backstage. Sami got a big Blue Thunder Bomb off the distraction, but Gable rolled outside before he could get the pin.
Gable took a second Blue Thunder Bomb in the ring before he turned things around and sent Sami outside for Otis to attack him. Otis was about to attack the champ but then hesitated before Gable ran outside, yelled at him, and slapped him.
Back in the ring, Sami was about to get the Helluva Kick, but Otis finally attacked him in the corner, letting Gable hit Chaos Theory for the win!

We saw the aftermath of an attack on Cruz Del Toro, and the LWO showed up right after and blamed Carlito for it.
Bron Breakker vs. Kale Dixon on WWE RAW
Bron Breakker complained about the match for a few seconds before running in with a massive spear.
Bron tossed Kale Dixon out of the ring before hitting another spear on the floor and dragging him back inside. Dixon was down, and the referee called the match since he was unable to continue.
Result: Bron Breakker def. Kale Dixon via KO
Bron was infuriated by this and hit another spear while Dixon was being helped up by the referee. He then tossed Dixon back outside and got the steel steps before officials came out and stopped him.
Breakker backed off but came back with a steel chair, hitting Dixon with it against the steel steps before walking away.
Grade: B-
After a break on RAW, Dixon was carried off in an ambulance while Adam Pearce yelled at Bron Breakker for his actions. Bron said this was all Pearce's fault since he didn't add him to the King of the Ring Tournament.
Lyra Valkyria vs. IYO SKY - Queen of the Ring Tournament Semi-Final match on WWE RAW
Lyra Valkyria was in control early on, and IYO SKY dropped her on the ropes before getting a near fall off some strikes on the mat. SKY got a massive backbreaker for another near fall before Valkyria came back with a massive suplex.
SKY took a big kick to the outside, followed by a flying crossbody in the ring. IYO came back with the Meteora before the two traded submission holds on the mat. IYO got the missile dropkick before Lyra dragged her down from the ropes, blocking the moonsault.
Valkyria was sent outside before IYO hit a massive springboard moonsault. Lyra got a neckbreaker for a near fall back in the ring before SKY hit the Meteora in the corner. IYO got a powerbomb off the counter but collapsed before getting the pin.
SKY missed the moonsault but dodged the Nightwing before Valkyria got the sudden rollup win.

The Miz and R-Truth were backstage, and Miz was worried about facing The Judgment Day. Truth said that he asked Andre the Giant for help, leaving Miz very confused.
Ilja Dragunov was backstage when Ricochet came up to him. While the latter was talking to Dragunov, Bron Breakker showed up out of nowhere and speared him through some road cases.
Sonya Deville was back on RAW and wanted to talk to Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Baszler replied that they weren't interested before RAW moved on.
Awesome Truth (c) vs. The Judgment Day - World Tag Team Championship match
Finn Balor and The Miz kicked off the match, and JD McDonagh was isolated early on as the champ was isolated in the ring. Miz got the tag, and R-Truth came in with some big moves on JD before getting a massive clothesline in the corner.
The Miz was back in and missed the Skull Crushing Finale before a distraction from Dominik Mysterio allowed JD and Balor to get back in control. Truth came back and missed the Five Knuckle Shuffle before getting the STF.
The champs hit double five-knuckle shuffles before Carlito interfered and was taken out by The Miz. Carlito came back and broke up a pin before Braun Strowman came and chased him off. The distraction allowed Truth to hit the AA on JD for the win.
Result: Awesome Truth def. Judgment Day to retain the World Tag Team Championship on RAW

Lyra Valkyria was backstage on RAW and was sucker punched by Liv Morgan.
Becky Lynch was out next and talked about her upcoming title match, calling Liv Morgan a coward. Liv came out and said she was there to finish the revenge tour, and the two teased a match, but Morgan denied the champ and walked out.
The Judgment Day was very upset backstage, and Damian Priest told JD that he had to face Braun Strowman next week.
Xavier Woods was cleared to compete once more when Karrion Kross came in and told him that 'there was always time left'.
#1 Contender’s Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match: Damage CTRL vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark vs. Ivy Nile & Maxxine Dupri vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance
Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark had the early advantage, but the former champ came in and cleared the ring before Ivy Nile got a big stalling suplex on Kairi Sane. The superstars were at ringside when Katana Chance hit them with a massive dive to the outside.
Sane got the insane elbow on Maxxine Dupri before Baszler caught her in the Kirifuda Clutch. Zoey tagged in, and they hit Maxxine with their combined finisher before picking up the win.

Drew McIntyre was backstage and said that Damian Priest had too much on his plate to focus on the Heavyweight Title match.
Gable learned that Otis apologized to Sami after the match and was about to get mad but then thought that Otis had some evil plan.
Jey Uso vs. Gunther - King of the Ring Tournament Semi-Final match on WWE RAW
Jey Uso and Gunther traded strikes early in the match, and the latter was sent outside before Uso hit a big dive. Back in the ring, Gunther sidestepped a shoulder charge before dragging Jey outside and sending him into the steel steps. Gunther locked in a Kimura hold on the ropes before Jey turned it into a Samoan Drop from the top.
Gunther got a near fall off a splash from the top rope before getting some more massive chops. Jey came back with strikes of his own before getting a sudden spear.
Uso got the splash but the ref was too late to get the count. Gunther locked in a modified sleeper hold, and Jey was knocked out, ending the match.
