Edge was out next to a huge pop from the crowd and he was very emotional as he recalled his injury and his break from WWE. He said he was eager to go back 'home' to the ring and he trained for all this time and now he was ready to end his career on his own terms.
He hinted at making a full return and the crowd went nuts. Randy Orton interrupted him just to welcome him home and proposed reuniting Rated RKO before hitting him with an RKO. He then brought a chair and smashed Edge in the back with it.
He set up the chair on Edge's neck but then had a change of heart. He returned again and put Edge's head on a steel chair and smashed him with another chair, right in the head.
