Was Finn Balor able to get the better of Elias Samson

Elias Samson was in the ring, ready to play. He asked the crowd “Who wants to walk with Elias?”. He asked the crowd to put their cell phones down and save their applause until after. So naturally, the crowd instantly applauded and raised their phones. He had sung a bit and was unsurprisingly cut off by Finn Balor.

The match started with Samson pressing Balor. The former Universal Champion caught Samson with a kick and was setting up the Coupe-de-grace before Samson rolled out of the ring. After the commercial break, Samson had a hold of Balor with a full nelson. Finn elbowed The Drifter and got away with it.

Balor got some more offence in with a double stomp, but it was mostly The Drifter dominating. However, that didn’t stop Balor from regaining momentum with a sling blade and dropkick. He landed the coupe-de-grace and pinned Samson clean.

After the match, The Hardy Boyz came out and congratulated Finn Balor. They proceeded to the ring for their coming match.
