Backstage on RAW, Ron Simmons was seen giving advice to MVP and Bobby Lashley. They approached R-Truth who was carrying a frying pan to defend himself. Shelton Benjamin came out of nowhere and wiped out Truth to become the new 24/7 Champion.

MVP, Lashley, and Benjamin were out next and made fun of Ricochet and Cedric Alexander. Ricochet and Cedric came out and wanted to take on team MVP before introducing their new teammate Mustafa Ali. Lashley ran at them and the trio took him down with Superkicks before heading into the ring, causing MVP and Benjamin to retreat.
