Gunther kicked off the WWE RAW after SummerSlam and celebrated his World Heavyweight Championship victory, reminding us that he was the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion. He said that he would elevate the Heavyweight title to great heights and that no one was strong enough to dethrone him.

Randy Orton showed up to interrupt Gunther's celebration and said that at the King of the Ring tournament final, which led to the new champion receiving the title shot, Gunther won only because of a bad call from the referee.
Randy said that his shoulders were not on the mat and even Triple H had seen it and agreed that The Viper deserved a rematch. Orton wanted to dethrone the new champ, and Gunther said that Randy would be unable to before accepting the challenge. The Ring General will face Randy in a title match at WWE Bash in Berlin.
WWE RAW Results: Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser
Sheamus attacked Ludwig Kaiser before the match and sent him into the barricades before they brawled their way to the ring. The match started with Sheamus in control, but Kaiser sent him into the corner and hit some big chops.
Sheamus returned the favor and came back with chops to Kaiser before the latter went after the injured knee. Kaiser fell outside and faked a rib injury to get the upper hand before sending The Celtic Warrior into the steel steps and hitting a dropkick against it.
Back in the ring, Kaiser tried to hit the Beats of the Bodhran but Sheamus blocked it before getting a headbutt and the Irish Curse Backbreaker. Sheamus hit the White Noise for a near fall before locking in the cloverleaf.
Sheamus got a big dive from the ropes before Pete Dunne tried to attack him with a shillelagh but missed. Back in the ring, Sheamus got the knee strike and the Brogue Kick before picking up the win.

We got a short video tribute to honor Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family's WWE Debut that was 11 years ago. It ended with Uncle Howdy saying, "The Reckoning is here... RUN!"
Damian Priest was out next and called out Finn Balor to answer for the betrayal at SummerSlam. Balor was nowhere to be seen, and Priest vowed to take revenge. Balor showed up on the big screen and said that Damian betrayed the Judgment Day and brought it upon himself.
The Judgment Day was supposed to have each other's backs, but it all changed when Damian became champion. Balor said Damian was a loser from the streets and didn't deserve a match with him.
He said that he would wait till Priest felt safe before stabbing him in the back. JD McDonagh, Carlito, Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan showed up beside Balor, and Finn said they would all get revenge. Damian was furious and ran backstage to find them as RAW moved on.
WWE RAW Results: Shayna Baszler vs. Lyra Valkyria
Lyra Valkyria got some big strikes early, but Shayna Baszler overpowered her and tried for an Ankle Lock. Valkyria came back with a powerbomb but was caught in the Kirifuda Clutch. Lyra broke out and got the Nightwing before Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark ran in to break the count.

After the bell, Sonya, Zoey, and Shayna attacked Valkyria, but Damage CTRL showed up and kicked the heels out of the ring.

CM Punk was out next and talked about his match at SummerSlam and said that was just the start. He said he wanted a rematch with Drew McIntyre before Seth Rollins arrived. The Visionary said that he was there to put Punk 'in the dirt' before they were about to start a fight.
Drew McIntyre showed up from the crowd and said that he was now the Best in the World since he defeated CM Punk. Drew showed off the bracelet and Punk chased after him as they both left the arena.
Bronson Reed attacked Rollins in the ring and took a superkick but took the former champ down before hitting two Tsunamis. Officials came in to check on Rollins and Reed was about to leave but ran back in for a third Tsunami. Reed went back up top and hit a fourth and then a fifth and sixth splash!
Seth Rollins was coughing up blood as former superstar and now backstage part of the management, Jason Jordan, with some officials, rolled him out of harm's way as we headed for a break on RAW.
Backstage after the break, we learned that The Visionary was being taken to a hospital before CM Punk showed up looking for Drew McIntyre. Adam Pearce told him that Drew had been sent home to avoid the altercation between him and Punk.
WWE RAW Results: AOP vs. The New Day
Xavier Woods got some big moves on Razar early in the match before hitting a missile dropkick. Akam tried to interfere, but Woods sent him outside before Kofi Kingston hit the trust fall on him.
Karrion Kross knocked Woods off the top rope before Odyssey Jones came out of nowhere and wiped Karrion out at ringside. The New Day picked up the win off the distraction before AOP attacked them.
Result: The New Day def. AOP
Odyssey Jones came in and took out AOP, hitting a big double slam on them before taking Kross out as well with a spinning Uranage.
Grade: B
JD McDonagh was backstage and said that Priest was only the champ because the Judgment Day allowed it. He said that he would make Priest suffer tonight in their match.
WWE RAW Results: Awesome Truth vs. A-Town Down Under
R-Truth and Austin Theory kicked off the match, and Grayson Waller came in for a double-team move, but Truth reversed in and tagged The Miz in for a double-team move of their own. Miz got the 'it' kicks before trying for the Skull Crushing Finale on Theory but Truth tagged himself in.
Truth hit the Attitude Adjustment on Waller but accidentally took Miz out in the process. Theory came back in with the A-Town Down on Truth and picked up the win.
Result: A-Town Down Under def. Awesome Truth on RAW

Bron Breakker was backstage and said he has already been the Intercontinental Champion in less than three years in the WWE. He added that no one had the courage to face him for the title.
WWE RAW Results: Damian Priest vs. JD McDonagh
Damian Priest unloaded on JD McDonagh off the bat and slammed him on the mat before a distraction from Carlito allowed McDonagh to get some moves in. Priest sent JD outside and went after Carlito before McDonagh sent the former World Champ head-first into the ring post.
Back in the ring, Priest tried for the chokeslam but took a headbutt from JD before the latter got a near fall off a moonsault. Priest came back with a flatliner, and then the Broken Arrow before JD fled the ring.
Priest sent him over the announce desk before getting a clothesline in the ring. Damian took out Carlito before Finn Balor showed up to derail the match.
Result: Damian Priest def. JD McDonagh via DQ
Balor, Dom, JD, and Carlito attacked Priest but got wiped out before Liv Morgan saved Balor from the Razor's Edge. Rhea Ripley ran in and attacked Liv, sending her into the ring post twice before Dominik saved Morgan from the Razor's Edge through the announce desk.
Dom and Liv ran off into the crowd, but Rhea caught JD in the ring with a headbutt, and Priest hit the chokeslam before RAW moved on.

Backstage, Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler attacked Damage CTRL and took out Dakota Kai's injured knee to stop her from being able to face Deville tonight.
WWE RAW Results: Sonya Deville vs. IYO SKY
IYO SKY took Dakota's place in the match following the attack and Deville got some knee strikes early on before IYO sent her outside with a Rana. After a distraction from Baszler and Stark, SKY was sent into the steel steps outside.
Back after a break on RAW, Deville was back in control but was sent into the ringspot before taking a missile dropkick. SKY took some knee strikes before getting the double knees "bullet train" in the corner.
After a distraction from Stark, Kairi and SKY hit a moonsault/insane elbow combo to take everyone out at ringside. Back in the ring, SKY got the over the moonsault before getting the win.
Result: IYO SKY def. Sonya Deville
Grade: B
Sami Zayn was upset about his title loss, but Ilja Dragunov and Jey Uso tried to cheer him up. Sami said that he had a rematch with Bron next week and Jey told him that he and Sami would try for the tag titles next.
We got another cryptic Wyatt Sicks video before Chad Gable and the Creeds showed up to call them out.
WWE RAW Results: Wyatt Sicks vs. Chad Gable & The Creed Brothers
The match started off with a big brawl before Gable Gable and the Creed were sent outside the ring. Uncle Howdy was in a rocking chair on the entrance ramp before Gable and Dexter Lumis faced off the ring. Julius Creed was tagged in before Lumis got some big moves and tagged Joe Gacy in.
Brutus took a big double-team slam before Gable and the Creeds got into another six-man brawl in the ring. Erick Rowan dropped the Creeds before Gacy got a big senton on them. Outside the ring, Rowan powerbombed Lumis onto their opponents before we headed for a break.
Back on RAW, the Creeds took double Uranage's on the announce desk before Rowan hit a chokeslam on Gable in the ring. Lumis came in with a frog splash on Gable and got the big win.

The Wyatt Sicks were in the after-the-match and were joined by Abby the Witch and Uncle Howdy before RAW went off the air.
