The Ascension vs Bobby Roode & Chad Gable
Before the match, Konnor boasted about beating both Roode & Gable. Once the match started, the Ascension looked strong. They dominated Gable and isolate him in one corner, quickly tagging in one another. Viktor repeatedly tried to pin Gable but couldn't keep his shoulders down. He hooked in a modified arm wrench but Gable got back to his feet.

Gable tagged Roode in and he was all over Viktor before hitting a Blockbuster from the top rope to Konnor. He tried to hit Viktor with a Glorious DDT but Viktor countered. Gable tagged himself in and pinned Viktor after a rolling German Suplex.

The Authors of Pain ran out as soon as the bell rang. They flattened Konnor before entering the ring. They disposed of Roode first before hitting Gable and Viktor with the Super Collider
Paul Heyman was back and said he was excited to see the Shield and Braun, Dolph & McIntyre. He said Brock is not watching at home and is training hard to become the first two-sport champion by holding a title in both WWE and UFC. He said both Braun and Reigns were part of their teams and only Brock has the singular focus to be able to win the Universal Title back.
