Big E cashed in the Money in the Bank contract on RAW, and the match was set up right then. Lashley refused to compete due to his injury, but Big E slapped him, enraging the champ as the match began.

Big E was focusing on Lashley's knee but took a spear for a near fall. Big E reversed a big move and hit the Big Ending on Lashley for the win!

Big E has done it. He ended Lashley's title reign and picked up his first-ever WWE Championship win on RAW tonight. The New Day joined him in the ring, and they celebrated with the new WWE Champion before RAW went off the air.
